By the look of the picture it seems to be the Iwama style bokken which is evenly weighted throughout the bokken. I would love if someone could confirm this.
There is a black-like marking where a Tsuba(?) would go, I would like to know whether this black marking is removable and, if not, is it a marking which you cannot feel or is it something which sticks out?
The reason I ask is because I have large hands and I do not want to be limited in the way I hold my hands on the bokken.
Lastly, Not sure if this should be in it's own topic but:
When I go to the checkout with the items I wish to purchase, I select the country I am in -- which is not the US, and it says that shipping costs will be emailed to me. I click next and then I am expected to enter my payment details in order to purchase the items, incl Credit Card number and Address. However, the problem is I have not been notified on the cost of the shipping, and therefore I do not want to enter my details into a site where I am unsure what I am paying.
If you could please let me know how the payment system works -- as in, do I pay shipping seperate, do I get emailed a quote and THEN pay, etc.
